West 4th Avenue Residence
Massive reclaimed Douglas-Fir warehouse shelves where milled into the second floor deck planks. Daylighting is maximized via windows and skylights. Low-infiltration ‘Spider’ insulation was sprayed into all wall cavities, and a centrally-located gas fireplace heats both floors.
